"Puri Bayu" is definitely one of the finest examples of Bali style
living-tranquil, and set amidst a magnificent tropical garden. Upstairs all
wooden (polished) floors; the master bedroom is set under a traditional bale
(pergola). The wardrobe is a magnificent antique cupboard. Bedroom is equipped
with a mosquito net, 29" TV, Video, Laser disc, and en-suite bathroom. The
master bathroom features two small bath-tubs - one with hot & cold and the other
with only cold. Also features a separate shower recesses, a wash basin (hot &
cold water) and vanity recess etc.
Sliding glass windows on three sides of the room provide a magnificent view
of the 'AYUNG River ' & the rice fields beyond. Downstairs is an open-plan
living area with stunning views of the AYUNG River. Furnished with a low table
cushions (seats 4 - 6). There is also a formal sofa in the living room, which
seats six. There is also an excellent stereo system (with C.D. etc) in the
living area. From the living area, doorways lead to the master bedroom on the
first floor, and the downstairs bathroom. An office, which is separate from the
main living area by a partition is equipped with an I.D.D. phone (& fax).
The bathroom, which is entered from the living area, has a black
tiled terrazzo floor-amenities include a shower, toilet with hot & cold water.
Kitchen : features an open-plan breakfast bar on two sides (6 bar stools), large
stove/oven, large fridge, with loads of storage space, complete with numerous
labor saving devices.
The Guest-house located south of the main house with single storey
alang-alang roof, fitted with double bed, mosquito net; 20" TV, Video; en-suite
bathroom separate bath tub (+ hand shower) & shower,-features hot & cold water,
W/C. The bathroom can be accessed from the pool area. Verandah with set of
chairs etc. The asymmetrical swimming pool (approx. 11m X 5m) is located between
the main house & the guest house.
Staff:
All are well experienced as they have all been working in this home for seven
years. They are the cook & housekeeper, 2 maids, 1 driver, maintenance
night-watchman, 1 Gardener, night-watchman
